Cobeau is a community of pet parents who exchange care. Members earn credits by providing walks, daycare, drop-in visits, or overnight stays, and use those credits when their own pets need care. It’s a trusted way to give and get support, built on the idea that we all do better when we care for each other.
Cobeau is designed for dogs and cats. We do not currently support any other animal types.
- At Cobeau, care is currency. Instead of paying sitters, Cobeau members earn and redeem credits by supporting one another. Here’s how it works:
1. Create your profile: Tell us about your care preferences and pet routines. Every member completes a background check before their first booking to help keep our community safe.
2. Request or provide care: Need help with your pet? Post a request and connect with trusted pet parents nearby. Want to earn credits? Offer walks, drop-ins, daycare, or overnight care to other members in your community.
3. Earn and use credits: You'll earn credits each time you provide care for another member. Those credits can be used toward your care to lower your cost for care.
4. Meet, message, and coordinate: Arrange meet-and-greets, send messages, and share updates directly in the app. Transparency and trust are at the heart of every exchange.
5. Repeat: The more you help other members, the more credits you earn. Use them toward your pet care whenever you need it.
