If you’re unable to find care for your first request within a week of submitting it, we’ll refund your membership. Just give the community a chance to respond, and if it doesn’t work out, we’ll make it right.

Cobeau credits are automatically transferred once the scheduled appointment ends. This ensures credits are only exchanged for care that has been provided.

If a care request is cancelled before care begins, no Cobeau credits are exchanged.

• Any reserved credits are released back to the pet parent.
• The caregiver does not receive credits for cancelled care.

If a cancellation happens after care has already started, credit handling may vary depending on how much care was completed. In these cases, Cobeau steps in to review and ensure the outcome reflects the care actually provided.

Cobeau is a community of pet parents who exchange pet care. Members earn credits by providing walks, daycare, drop-in visits, or overnight stays, and use those credits when their own pets need care. It’s a trusted way to give and get support, built on the idea that we all do better when we care for each other.

You can cancel anytime from your account settings. Membership fees are non-refundable, but your account will remain active until the end of your billing cycle.

After each session, both the caregiver and pets are reviewed. This helps build trust and accountability within the community.

Pet lovers are welcome! You can join Cobeau to provide care, even if you don’t have a pet of your own.

Browse the feed or request care from specific members you trust. You can filter by location, service type, pet preferences, and availability.

Yes! When posting or accepting requests, you can indicate if multiple pets are involved. The credits required to book will reflect the type of care and the number of pets needing care.

Download the Cobeau app. You’ll create a profile, add details about yourself and your pets, and share your care preferences.

Our team is available for dispute resolution—just submit a help and support request. We typically respond within 24 hours.

We have guardrails in place to discourage late cancellations. Depending on timing, members may forfeit a portion of their credits or face temporary restrictions.

Cobeau includes several built-in safeguards:

• Background checks on all members before booking care
• Member reviews and ratings after every care session

Yes! Cobeau credits can be purchased at $5 per credit if you need additional care. Purchased credits can be used to book care, but they do not count toward membership discounts.

Yes. Credits expire 12 months after they are earned.

Credits are worth the following: 

• 10 credits = Overnight (up to 24 hours, including overnight stay)
• 5 credits = Daycare (up to 12 hours, no overnight)
• 2 credits = Drop-in or Walk (up to 1 hour)

You can cancel your membership at any time and continue using it through the end of your billing period.

If you’re unable to find care for your first request, you’re covered by our Care Guarantee—we’ll refund your membership.

Instant credits are also risk-free: if you’re unable to use them within 30 days, you’ll receive a full refund to your original payment method. Just let us know before the 30-day window ends and we’ll process it right away.

Yes! You can join for free, create your profile, and start earning credits by providing care or referring fiends. A paid membership is required when you’re ready to book care for your own pet.

Membership unlocks the ability to request and book care. It also covers the cost of 1 background check per year for members that are booking or offering care.

There are 2 membership tiers: 

• Monthly membership: $35/month; however, if you earn 30+ credits in a month by providing care, your next month's membership is $25/month‍
• Annual membership: $279/year; however, if you earn 300+ credits in a year, your next year's membership is $199/year

Each type of care has a simple credit value:

• At Cobeau, care is currency. Instead of paying sitters, Cobeau members earn and redeem credits by supporting one another. Here’s how it works:
  
  1. Create your profile: tell us about yourself and your pets: their routines, preferences, and what kind of care you can offer. Every member completes a background check before booking to help keep our community safe.
  
  2. Earn credits by caring for others: offer pet care in your neighborhood like walks and daycare or overnights and drop-ins. You’ll earn credits for each care you provide.
  
  3. Redeem credits for care: as a paid member, you can use the credits you've earned (or purchased) to book care for your own pets. A Cobeau membership is a fraction of the cost of traditional pet sitting.
  
  4. Meet, message, and share updates: coordinate meet-and-greets, send messages, and share photos directly in the app. Transparency and trust are at the heart of every exchange.
  
  5. Repeat: the more you give, the more you earn, and the more you get in return. There’s no limit to how much care you can exchange.

Cobeau is designed for dogs and cats. We do not currently support any other animal types.
